Pewter Vessels by Janet Miller
“Deconstruct a style to its simplest lines and you discover its essence . . . function meeting form.”

Function Meeting Form

Truly the essence of "Function Meeting Form" . . .

These incredible pewter creations are all hand-made, each individually crafted with no molds or forms.

The twisted shapes are formed from one piece of metal that is scored and very carefully bent by hand. The Artist uses a hand-held jeweler’s saw to cut the pewter. The bent metal is then worked against a tree stump until it is the desired shape. Each piece is individually made with no molds or forms being used.
